Augustana Vespers

Augustana proudly presents Christmas Vespers: Prepare the Way. Through music, word and light, the university will embrace the spirit of Advent and reflect on the joyous anticipation of the Christmas season.

Vespers services will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. The services will feature Augustana’s choirs, percussion ensemble and the Augustana Brass Choir.

Saturday evening's service will be live streamed via YouTube.

After the service, enjoy fellowship, accompanied by holiday cookies and hot cocoa — provided by Thrivent.

Thanks to an ongoing relationship with Thrivent, Augustana is excited to announce a new initiative that supports the School of Music and its programming. Each year, from November through December, for every $1 donated to the School of Music, Thrivent will match $1 up to a total of $15,000.

Event Policy: Upon arrival, your ticket will be scanned at one of the three entrances. Restrooms and coatrooms are available before you make your way to the fellowship hall. Doors open 30 minutes before the service, and SoM merchandise will be available for purchase for 30 minutes afterward. - This event has a no refund policy.
